BolzWM – Day 3

Well folks, it’s been a very crazy beginning to the BolzWM.  We started working on wednesday, setting up the big screen, moving benches (total respect to biergarten people, it’s hard work moving those tables), hanging pictures, and building the culture tents.  I for one am completely exhausted.  Not to mention it was totally hot outside.  And then came Friday!  Dynamo built it!  People came!  Success!

Saturday marks one of the hottest days of the year.  Good lord.  It was crazy hot.  Unbelievably hot.  Uncomfortably so.  But it did not stop hundreds of people cramming into the tent to watch germany make it to the semi finals.  Adios D10s!  It was the only time that I can remember that everyone was not totally complaining because it was too stuffy and warm.  Everyone was too distracted by football to even care that we were packed like sardines and slowly roasting.  IT WAS FUN!

Of course, mad props to all those teams who came out and played football in the painful early afternoon heat!  There were hundreds of sweaty people running around, and it looked like they were having a great time.  Here is the dynamo team (organized at the last minute, of course).
